Some Online Poker Tips will be available in this article...Alright, so you want to improve your online poker. There are several ways and one way is reading the way people play. This means you will have to have your undivided attention on the poker at hand.

Let's create a scenario...You have top pair and raise your opponent who waits till his screen begins flashing that he is taking to long and then he re-raises you. Who would act unsure and then re-raise you? You should probably fold, but watch out for the bluffers out there, or perhaps, you will be one of them after reading this. :P

right, somebody checks very quickly, this obviously points towards them not having a monster hand. So what do you do? RAISE!! Fire a couple of shells and they're sure to back down.

Ok, use the chat box to your advantage. You ever logged on one morning and there is a really cocky player bragging in the chat box all the time? If he raises you, ask him if he has a good hand. If he doesn't respond, you can know that he probably is bluffing, it is our nature to go on the defensive side when you are caught bluffing. If he trash talks you...Well, that's defensive.

Multi table playing is a very profitable way to play for the experienced player. On many online poker rooms there are ways to check who is using multiple tables and who isn't. If you find somebody who is, you can know they probably play by the book and don't bluff to much, they don't have the time. If you see somebody who you are sure is a multiple table player taking a long time to make a decision, you can know they have a monster of a hand and are neglecting their other tables to make a killing on this one.
There are many forms of cheating in poker, some that even are near impossible to catch. Firstly, you always have to be careful with your money. Before you sit down at a table, watch it play a few hands first. If you see it is going slowly, don't play there. For 2 reasons. Firstly, a slow table means less hands and for a good online poker player, that means less profits. The second reason being some people use instant messaging programs to cheat you out of your money. They tell accouter what cards they all have which gives them a significant advantage over you.

Most poker online now days are ring games, these consist of 10 (or so) players. These are hot spots for cheaters because they get more people in their cheating group to play there and they keep their profits high as they get more people to cheat out of their money. Don't let these guys get you, you can prevent it and you will lose money if you can't wait 2 minutes watching them play before you sit down with your money.

The most common form of cheating is in tournaments where there are a group of players who 'dump' chips on each other. When there are about 10 players who dump all the chips they get onto one play, that player is almost guaranteed a decent spot on the final table, even if he isn't the greatest player around (though he will probably be the best out of the group).

The only thing that stands in the way of these cheaters is that they don't start out at the same tables. But when they get to the same table, they begin dumping chips. Sadly there isn't a very effective way to fight this other then being better and luckier then they are.

Another form of cheating is co-operative cheating. Again, there have to be more then one player involved in this. This cheating is when 2 players (who know each other) raise and re-raise each other in a hand. Even the average poker players will realize that they are playing against people with really good hands and decide to duck for cover instead of calling. A lot of the time these players are doing this cheat with junky cards, so....We can take advantage of that right? ;)

Well, if you notice two players who constantly raise and re-raise each other, don't let them steal to much of your money, play along and when you get a hand which you reckon is gone win, call their raises and you should make a very tidy little profit.
In this article I'm going to cover several basic differences between live poker and online poker that have a huge impact on the results you achieve. I find that in online poker I don't win quite as much as I win while playing live poker. There is a reasonably obvious reason for this, that is when I play live, I do my best to interpret what kind of hand my opponents have. In online poker, I can only see the fictional picture/logo they have, this is no help to me.

When online poker is played correctly it can be very profitable. People watch their money even less in online poker games then in casinos (no, I don't think they watch their money much there either). When a player loses in an online poker game and runs out of money they quickly reload and continue playing (and in many cases, losing). When you spot a play who keeps reloading, you should know they do get a little desperate to win pots, take advantage of that. ;)

I find a way to combat this is to play my game slightly more aggressively. If my opponent has a better hand then me but I pressure him for his chips before he has the chance to draw any cards that will fill him with confidence and call my bets. Don't play timidly, bet him out of the round before he realizes he is beating you.

Suckers....Well, if you know what I mean you're probably squirming in your chair right now. Suckers are people who will call any play you make. The bluffs that will make the most experienced players fold make no impact on the suckers, they just call you. While there is a chance of making some money here, they are not fun to play against. The higher the stakes go the less you will see suckers.

A bum asks a man for $2, the man says, "Will you buy booze?" The bum says, "No." The man says, "Will you gamble it away?" The bum says, "No." So the man says, "Will you come home with me so my wife can see what happens to a man who doesn't drink or gamble?"

Figured I'd just give you guys a laugh before reading this next post. I've spoken to several players who I've seen lose in online poker matches and discussed why we think they lost. A very common reason that we discovered was after they lose one big hand, they tend to change their game play.

If there is one thing I've learned from playing any poker it is to stick with your game play. If you manage to get $10,000 from playing it nice and slow, stick with it, if you don't you are likely to lose the money.

We discovered that most players play it on the aggressive side and do fairly well until a point where they lose because they were aggressive. Now, they change their game play to try recuperate from their loss.

Now, thinking about this logically they have had more experience playing aggressive and suddenly they change to an unfamiliar game play which they are less skilled at using. They play passivly in order to make back their money but they begin getting frustrated at the slow rate at which their money is increasing or even possibly decreasing (depending on how skilled they are at playing in the unfamiliar game play) and they eventually decide to do something stupid.

Another big problem I found was a surprising amount of people are playing at a late hour when they are tired. If you play like this you will lose money. The same goes for any other distractions such as email, MSN (or other Instant Message programs), music etc. If you want to make it big in online poker, you have to be concentrating all the time.
Ok, I have been testing out a couple of places where you can play poker online. I found great site I found today was Victor Chandler (www.vcpoker.com). I find that that it is effecient and it has whatever you might need on it.
After playing for several hours it had alerted me of several tournamentsthat were taking place in the next few minutes and there were several pleasant people chatting in the lobby who were willing to help me out with anything I needed.
The hands are dealt to the players faster then several other online poker places I have visited, I won't mention names though. ;) You'd be surprised at how much time you waste watching cards be dealt one by one when a computer is perfectly capable of dealing the cards all at the same time.
It has a unique betting system and I was pleased with the site overallI would highly reccomend that you use Victor Chandler poker.
